Rehosting involves the complete transfer of your ADABAS/Natural systems to a different operating platform. It is also known as Cross-Platform Migration. Example: moving all your data and applications from platforms such as AIX, HP-UX, Solaris or Z/OS to the Linux environment.

Installation
Installation of the new products on the Linux platform, since AIX, HP-UX and Solaris are out of maintenance.
AIX, HP-UX, Solaris migration
Depending on the source version and/or platform, an Adabas backup or file decompression is required. We copy the Natural FUSER, NATPARM, and export Predict and Natural Security. We also port the scripts and adapt platform-specific commands to those used on Linux.
Z/OS migration
Download of ADABAS files from Z/OS and EBCDIC/ASCII conversion applying the customer-adapted code page. We transform JCL into Shell or Python scripts. Library download via SYSTRANS and load into Linux. We install open source tools that replace mainframe management.
Web interface
After migration, your Natural applications are accessible from any web browser thanks to Natural Web I/O, eliminating the need for SSH access and making it easier for end users to work from any device and location.
